Account and Data Deletion

How to Request Deletion

• Device Information: IP address, browser type, operating system, device identifier, and other technical data collected automatically.
• In-App Deletion: To delete your account, open the app and go to: Account > Delete Account
• Request by Email: You can also request account and data deletion by contacting us at Yec@msy.gov.qa. Please include the email address or username associated with your account.

Deletion Deletion Process and Grace Period

• After initiating a deletion request, your account will be deactivated for 30 days.
• During this 30-day period, you can reactivate your account at any time by simply logging in.
• If you do not log in during this period, your account and all associated data will be permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.

What Data is Deleted

• All personal information linked to your account (including your name, email, profile info, and usage data) will be permanently removed after the 30-day grace period.
• Once deleted, this data cannot be restored.

Your Choices

You have the right to:

• Access and Update Your Information: View, edit, and update your profile information, event registrations, and other personal data through your account settings.
• Delete Your Information: Request deletion of your account and information by contacting us at Yec@msy.gov.qa.
• Unsubscribe Communications: Opt out of receiving marketing emails or newsletters by clicking the "unsubscribe" link in those communications.

Prohibited Content and Conduct

We do not tolerate any objectionable content or abusive behavior. Users may not post or share content that is hateful, threatening, sexually explicit, or otherwise inappropriate. We reserve the right to remove such content and suspend users who violate these terms.
